Click here for resources and information to help survivors talk to their children about breast cancer and to help children cope with a loved one’s diagnosis of breast cancer. The Sister Study The Sister Study is the only long-term study of women aged 35 to 74 whose sister had breast cancer. It is a national study to learn how environment and genes affect the chances of getting breast cancer. Click here for details.
Magee-Womens High Risk Breast Cancer Program Women and their family members who are concerned about their breast cancer risk will receive a consultation for prevention options and a personalized breast cancer surveillance plan by a breast cancer specialist. Young Women's Breast Cancer Research Program All women who were diagnosed with breast cancer at 40 years of age or younger are invited to join this study. You do not have to live in the St. Louis area in order to participate. This study will help identify Novel Genetic Factors which contribute to the risk of breast cancer.
